Maybe you’re new to the area (welcome to the heart of Harnett!) or even a local that’s been here forever and unsure of what our area has to offer. If you’re looking for something fun to do in Lillington this weekend, you came to the right place! We’ve gathered a list of our 10+ favorite things to do in Lillington, NC! So grab the family, pack some snacks and head out on an adventure.
1. Raven Rock State Park
Price – Free
People come from all over, even driving several hours to see the beauty and experience the fun of Raven Rock State Park. With many different hiking, walking and bike trails – you can visit every day for a week and still have not done everything at Raven Rock. If you’re going for the first time or going with your family, we highly recommend starting out with the Raven Rock Loop Trail, this will take you by the Overlook on the Cape Fear River (pictured above) and also down to the park’s namesake, Raven Rock (pictured above). The Raven Rock Loop Trail is a little less intensive than some of the other trails. Be sure to pack a lunch, some drinks, and bring the family doggos for a great day of fun. 2. Belleau Wood Brewing Company

Belleau Wood Brewing Co. is a new addition to Lillington and we cannot be more excited! It is a 1-barrel brewery and taproom in downtown where both locals and visitors can enjoy delicious beers in a casual, fun, and family-friendly setting. 3. East Coast Classic Cars
Price – Free Showroom Admission
Calling all car enthusiasts, history buffs, and everyday people that love a sense of nostalgia. While East Coast Classic Cars is a dealership with vehicles for sale, everyone is invited to their showroom to see the hotrods, exotics, trucks, classics, and antique vehicles from yesteryear – earning them a special spot on our list of 10+ Things to Do in Lillington, NC. 4. Downtown Eats

Woohoo! Now let’s talk about one of our personal all-time favorite things to do…EAT! Lillington is full of some really good local restaurants. Here are a few of our favorites:
County Seat Sports Grille (pictured above) – We love their Drinks, Salad Bar, & Appetizers!
Lillington Sports Zone – We love their Steak & Rice Bowls!
Sweet Magnolias – Our favorite spot for a quick lunch!
Nonna’s Italian – We love their Egglplant Parmigana, Manicotti, and Philly Cheese Steaks!
Tacos Oaxaca – They have AMAZING Street Tacos, and the absolute best Chips & Salsa!
5. B Hive on Main
Price – Varies
After you’re done getting a bite to eat in downtown, head on over to Main St. for one of our favorite local shops! The B Hive is a gift shop for everyone. They have a boutique for women, a baby department, toy store and lots of great gifts. They even offer complimentary gift wrapping! Click here to visit their website.
6. Botanical Trail
Price – Free
Wether you’re looking to get some exercise in or you’re just wanting to take the dog and kids out for a stroll, the Botanical Trail is a great place to do both. The trail has two different paths, both are non-intensive and a great way to experience nature and de-connect from the hustle and bustle of your busy life. The Botanical Trail is located right near the Lillington Community Center. Get directions here.
7. Campbell Sporting Events
If you’re looking for something to do in Lillington, chances are there’s a game going on at Campbell University. Campbell University Sports offers just about every sport you can think of. Check out their schedule to see what games are coming up next! Be sure to bring some extra cash for popcorn, peanuts and refreshments.
8. Aloha Safari Zoo
Price – $12/Person, Kids under 2 are Free
While the Aloha Safari Zoo is actually located in Cameron, it’s proximity to Lillington has made it a great addition to our list of 10+ Things to Do in Lillington. The Aloha Safari Zoo is home to over 400 animals. They take in animals that were previously injured, abandoned, abused, neglected, or were unable to be cared for by their previous owners and give them a new home! Make sure you bring some extra money to buy food for the animals! Plan your visit here.
9. Anderson Creek County Park
Price – Free
Another one of our favorite spots to get out in nature! The Anderson Creek County Park features several walking/running trails, a playground, picnic area, pavilions and a pond overlook. Dogs are welcomed and must be kept on their leashes at all times. Pack some lunch, load the kids up and head out for a great day at the park!
10. Cape Fear River Adventures
It’s time for some fun for the entire family! At Cape Fear River Adventures you can rent canoes, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, or river tubes and spend some time out on the beautiful Cape Fear River. The lush banks of the Cape Fear River extend through the rolling, green hills and forests of Central NC all the way to the coast, in Wilmington. Easy river access right from their office in Lillington allows for a hassle-free day of family fun! Bring your sunscreen, sunglasses and something to drink. Plan your trip here.
11. Hawk Manor Falconry
This is a one-of-a-king chance to have an intimate encounter with multiple species of birds of prey. These sessions are not only entertaining but also educational! This is your opportunity to learn about the sport of falconry and the birds of prey used in the sport, see the birds fly an interact with their team, and have the chance to actually hold and have a photo taken with you and one of their raptors. Plan your visit.
12. Keith Hills Golf Course
On the banks of the Cape Fear River, you’ll find one most picturesque golf courses in The South. Keith Hills offers a 27-hole course with cart rentals. Call up your friends and get yourselves scheduled for an up-coming tee-time. If you’re needing some practice or just looking to hit some balls, visit their driving range – you can get a basket of balls for only $5. During May-Sept, you can also take a dip in the Keith Hills Pool, membership pricing can be found here.
13. Lillington River Park
Price – Free
Last but not least on our list of 10 Things to Do in Lillington is the Lillington River Park! This park is a new build having opened up in 2019. Put on your walking shoes so you can take a stroll while the kinds play on the playground! You can visit the park at: 151 E Duncan St, Lillington, NC 27546
